Kaarli Kool, Tallin (Estonia)

Kaarli Kool (https://kaarlikool.ee/eng/) is a private Christian school located in the center of Tallinn, Estonia, in the Kesklinna neighborhood along Toompuiestee. Operated by the congregation of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church (EELK), the institution bases its curriculum on Christian and humanitarian values, welcoming families of all religious persuasions. The school's philosophy is summarized in the motto "A tree that produces good fruit" and is based on three fundamental pillars: environment, experience, and knowledge.

Although the current structure dates back to ministerial approval in 2013, the origins of Kaarli's community-based education date back to the 19th century and the founding of the first private grammar school in 1918.

The school accompanies students from preschool to adulthood, covering the entire educational path:

Preschool (Lasteaed): welcomes children from 1.5 to 7 years old.

Compulsory school (Põhikool): active since 2013, it covers grades 1 through 9.

Secondary school (Gümnaasium): established in fall 2022, it completes the education cycle for grades 10 through 12.

The school maintains a strong family dimension with only one class per school year. Classes average 20 students in compulsory school and 25 students in secondary school.

Karli Kool is part of the global PASCH (Partner Schools for the Future) network, an initiative of the German Foreign Ministry that promotes the intensive study of the German language and culture.
