History

The Mary Poppins Club - Bruno Munari School was founded in 1977 in Parma thanks to the initiative of Laura Pesce and Lina Fochi, who bravely opened the first secular private nursery in the city.

Initially a Baby Parking, it quickly evolved into a nursery and preschool, and in the 1990s added the first school in the world dedicated to Bruno Munari, with the permission of the man himself, while he was still alive.

Munari's figure has indeed been from the beginning the main source of inspiration for the work of the two partners, although over the years, the complementary and converging aspects of Maria Montessori's influence have also emerged.

This happy combination has led to a teaching approach focused on experiential learning in a laboratory setting, driven by the joy of learning and respect for each individual's unique qualities.
