1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of those who visit them. They are used to make the site work, to remember preferences and, in some cases, to collect information about browsing activity.
They fall into two groups: technical cookies, which are necessary for the site to function and are installed without needing consent, and non-technical cookies (analytics or profiling, often from third parties), which require your prior consent.
2. Technical cookies used by this site
They do not require consent because they only make the site work. Some are present from your first visit, others appear only when you use a specific feature, as indicated below.
3. Third-party content subject to consent
Google Maps
On the Home and Contact pages we show the location of the school using Google Maps. The map is not loaded until you give your consent: in its place you will find a panel with a button that authorises it to load.
Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and may install its own cookies, including NID (google.com domain, up to 6 months). That processing is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
4. Site resources and external services
Typefaces, icons, stylesheets and libraries needed to run the site are hosted on our servers. Google Maps and Google Analytics are external services: they are loaded only after consent to the relevant category.
5. Statistics with Google Analytics
On the public domain clubmarypoppins.com we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, pages viewed and interactions with links and the contact form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which is optional and can be withdrawn.
Before you accept the “Statistics (Google Analytics)” category, the Google tag is not loaded and no requests are sent to Analytics. Refusing does not restrict browsing. Analytics is not enabled on the preview site or on private pages.
After consent, Google receives browsing and device information, pseudonymous identifiers and technical data needed for communication, including the IP address. Contact events sent by the site’s code contain the interaction type and selected school pathway, without names, email addresses, phone numbers or message text. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the installed tag.
Cookie expiry may be renewed while you use the service with active consent. The session cookie name depends on the property identifier. Cookie lifetimes do not specify how long reports are retained in Google’s service.

6. Managing your choices
On your first visit you can accept all optional cookies, reject them or customise your choices. There are three categories: Technical cookies, always on; Statistics (Google Analytics) and Map of the school (Google Maps), both switched off until you authorise them. Accepting the map does not enable Analytics.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing statistics consent disables subsequent collection and deletes accessible Analytics cookies on the domain; withdrawing map consent removes the map from the page. Choices are remembered for 180 days. Following the introduction of Analytics, a new choice is requested: earlier consent is not treated as consent to this purpose.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Please note that disabling technical cookies may prevent the site from working properly, in particular access to the private area.
